Kayaking Takes Hold on the Rio Grande

One year after 200 paddlers from around the world descended on Laredo and Nuevo Laredo for the the first ever binational Laredos Riofest, paddle sports have seized the imagination of the general population. A new Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Paddling Trail application was approved by Laredo City Council.
